As the .Org is going to fund a tree for Cozi through the Grotto.....MEMORIAL FOR COZI,.....we need to have feedback from Orgsters.

Please write down up to 30 words you think are appropriate for a memorial plaque in Cozi's memory.

When MCR 7.5 is over, all responses will be sorted through, and either a whole item or a mix of different items will be sent for manufacture...Thank you....Jay.

whole idea was not my idea..was bob w's idea(fank yoo).....need to make that clear...Jay

He lived life to the full
He was that kind of man
If you asked him why he did it
His reply was COZ-I-CAN

Rest In Peace

I think Shawzy has hit the nail on the head there...

Every sunrise will be missing something, every sunset something to...
For there is no longer our friend Mike, for us to give our affection to...
But rest assured, as day follows night. Of this you can be sure...
Mike Gidney will be really missed today.. and tomorrow even more...

R.I.P Mike Gidney

The memorial is an excellent idea Jay.

I'm not good with words either, but think Shawzy has something here.

This thread is going to be difficult to read as people's personal contributions come in.
Each a memorial in its own right.
I for one will re visit and contribute if I can find the words to pay respects to a man I wish I'd had the chance to know better.

I like Amo last few words 'a man I wish I'd had the chance to know better'. Says it all for me.

Great that we will be doing something to honour the big man. I never met him, but thought this might be somewhat appropriate

To our dear friend Cozi, who we all loved and knew,
On his famous GSX 1400, yes it was white and blue.
Will miss you bud, that we cannot deny
But heavens the best place to ride through the sky

I cannot say I'll miss you because I never met you,
I cannot say I'll miss your smile, because I never saw it,
I cannot say I'll miss your humour, because I never heard it,

What I can say is that you are a friend that I will never meet,
What I can say is that without doubt I am the loser because of that,

Ride free as the winds Cozi, R.I.P.

Im not good wth words but Taz's post got me thinking;

I've not left, just in another room
Not left you, I'm riding with you, just out of sight
Not left you, I'm in your hearts and minds
I'm right here coz you remember me.
