My K2 averaged 40mpg over 18,000 miles with a PCIII and blue flame cans, with a best of 48mpg and a worst of 33mpg between refills.
My K6 FE is averaging 46 (over 5,500 miles) without a PCIII and the Yoshimira can, with a best of 55mpg and a worst of 39mpg.

(Not that I keep records of these kind of things you understand)

Seriously

If you are getting 50mpg / 4.7l/100km then I would think that the bike is running really lean

I ride to work most days and do 70ks on the freeway mostly under 3000rpm

I am averaging 6-7 (36mpg) so I rekon 50 is bloody impressive

I can get 53mpg riding like a granny & I know mine is mapped just right, so it's possible.
It's not dirt, it's a biodegradable stealth & anti-theft coating...
