Nice looking exhausts ;) are you wanting to fit a complete systerm, or just the can? Nothing is impossable i guess, just fitting a can maybe the easyest and cheapest option. Iam sure someone will beable to point you in right direction. :)

If you are looking to fit the complete exhaust system then one off of a ZX12 won't fit - the headers will be shaped to fit that particular bike, no other.

If Brocks don't doa complete exhaust for the GSX1400, then no other complete system from them will fit.

Why not contact Brock's direct for their advice? BROCKS Website

I would change my mind to agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong

When I tell my wife I'll fix it, then I'll fix it. I don't need reminding every 6 months........

Hi
Your best bet is to get the headers from sandybike spares which are bigger bore and considered a usefull mod. Then you only have to sort a link pipe between a brocks can and the collector.

Cheers

I have contacted them a few days ago
they don't have something for GSX1400
They told me that the only thing I can do is to fix a brock's slip-on on my yoshimura header

You can contact Sandy Bike Spares via eBAY HERE (they do do headers for the 14 which are single skinned and stainless so bigger bore than standard, but don't have the auction up right at this time - price is similar to the collector (which this auction is for).

Mate don't modify the 1200 exhaust to your bike you will NOT get the full potential from your bike, exhaust tuning is science and you have to understand it completely because there is a lot of things to consider,

camshaft duration
valve overlap
exhaust valve head diameter

just to name a few and this helps work out the diameter of the extractor the length of each extractor and so forth..................so fitting the 1200 exhaust will not work the way it was intended to.

If you already have a Yoshi extractor which by the research I have done is one of the two best exhausts you can fit in our world the other is a AKRA as the boy's call it, unless you have a connection that will build you a custom exhaust that works. You are more than halfway to a good exhaust.

SR-Racing and Bodis deliver more power and torque than Akra and Yoshi.

Could not find SR-Racing but did find Bodis and frankly a jump of 40bhp on power with just a exhaust is not possible, from the dyno graph I looked at.

I find some of the claims for exhaust stretching the truth.
My Staintunes claim "an extra 10hp" but id bet money that they dont!

Yoshi stuff seems to work well with the 14.
PTR use Yoshi cam's and a Yoshi full system on their 1620cc/160+hp
normaly aspirated GSX1400 motors. You'd think if there was anything
a LOT better he'd be using it or having it as an option ?

Akrapovic is the biggest power increase for the 14,it gives 13/15bhp and thats a given.
I dont think Suzuki thought when they built the 14,that we would want to tune them so muchPosted Image Posted Image Posted Image

Exactly Tony..............I bet the Staintune is more in the 4-6 max. I am SUPER IN LOVE WITH MY SUZUKI and I LOVE the YOSHI brand just as much, I have never see them not meet their claims and yes I believe the AKRA might give better bhp gain than the Yoshi but I would also like to see that for myself.

I think the Yoshi Cyclone adds more bhp than the equivalent Akra system, firstly its a real 4 int 1 not a 4 into 2 into 1 as the akra, secondly I have a full race Devil system that is identical in bore to the Akra & its puts out 2 bhp less than my Yoshi system (dynoed), as fair as quality goes the Yoshi & the Akra are identical .
All Yoshi equipment is designed to work with maximum efficency in conjunction with each other i.e. Yoshi cams with Yoshi exhaust etc.
Generally manufacturers tend to exceed the real output of there material, also when dynoing, the time of year/ weather/ fuel quality/ humidity etc also make a difference loosing or gaining 1 or 2 bhp & not forgetting the differences between 1 dyno centre / operator & another.
